What Do You Want to Be?
As the school steps into its 63rd year many changes have had happened, infrastructure design have been greatly change and developed though few of it remain in its old designs but some of the buildings were furnished through in time and the ambiance are very lovely and comfortable enough for everyone who wishes to stay to make their projects etc. As you entered the campus the plants that are perfectly placed in different angles are as if gently approach us with its graceful shakes and waves of their leaves when they were smoothly moves by the breeze.
Behind this paradise like place there are a lot of question lies within this university that remain unclear to the students. The comfort rooms and parking area are supposed to be part of the basic services provided by the school in exchange of our tuition and miscellaneous fees. Instead giving it for free, the students are required to pay when we are going to use this facilities.
Another awful and very disgusting policy imposed by the university is the "NO PERMIT, NO EXAM POLICY" that has been discourage by the Commission on Higher Education through its CHED MEMORANDUM NO. 2 of 2010. The said policy of Foundation University clearly violates the right of the students to their access to education by prohibiting them taking major exams because they simply not able to comply their obligations in fact this can be settle during and after finals or close season we know for a fact that we can't proceed looking for a job if we can not comply all the requirements including our transcript of records and diplomas so we must have to settle our school accounts to get all this things.
My point is, the school should look for an option that would not curtail the right of the students to take their major examinations on time. this might affects the focus of the students on their study by entertaining another problem that is supposed to be settled after the examination.
What I Want to Be is to change this unfriendly and profitable policy of the University that constantly put the students into its unfair and miserable conditions. If this policy would remain firm to this institution surely it would only drop the population of students for the next coming years.
PNOY's SONA
A change of acrimony to horrible life, straight but barbed path to hell and a sugar coated lies.
Pnoy's speech on his 3rd State of the Nation Address was indeed very amusing, very surprising and even more one of the most obvious lie in the history of the State of the Nation Address under the government of US imperialist puppet. It is a mere sugar coated promises that gives a false hopes of the Filipino people for remaining four years in his administration. As I watched and listened to his speech it is between a numbers game a sort of addition and subtraction on the real economic and political situation in the country. As he went farther he was like punching a bubble that had left it untouched.
The Aquino II program were mainly focus on the
intervention of big foreign and local investor on our fundamental resources of
economy under his Public-Private Partnership this aims to hasten the
privatization and liberalization of country's economic wealth by transferring
government responsibility to the big foreign and local investor over its
maintenance and development. He boasted out the country's economic growth (GDP)
has reached into 6.4% higher from the speculated increase. What he doesn't know
the said increase is not sustainable due to the fact that the increased
were pushed by the services sector and Business Process Outsourcing BPO's
(call centers) and export oriented economy.
The country's economy are still dependent on the
global market where most of the first world country are devastatingly hit
by economic depression that slows down the world economy. Thus our country is
vulnerable to the effect of this economic crackdown.
During the speech he boasted the
unemployment as of April this year has go down into 6.9% while according to the
SWS survey at least 26.6% or 10.9 million Filipinos are unemployed in the
second quarter of the year. As of this year alone 55% or 11.1 million of Filipino
families consider themselves as poor higher to 2 million compare to last year
2011. In the first quarter of 2012 there are 23.8% or 4.8 million families who
experience from starvation. This is clearly beyond from what PNOY had touted
during his SONA. He even further boasted his $1 billion dollars being lend to
IMF to justify his fabricated development in economy.
Another very obvious lie and very illogical and
empty promises that even a little child can predict his dubious tale is the
distribution of all lands covered under the bogus land reform program would be
given to the beneficiaries before he will end his term. The CAPER is already 25
years on its existence but majority of the land that supposed to be enjoyed by
the farmers remained at the hand of the big landlords who continue to deceive
and oppress the true owner of the lands. The Hacienda Luisita is still at the
hand of the Cojuanco (PNOY’s family) clan despite of the order from the Supreme
Court to distribute the land to the beneficiaries. The provisions of the CARPER
are clearly favourable for the interest of the big land lords due to its
exemptions and numerous options that has been used by the landlords to prevent
their lands to be distributed to the real owner of their property.

WHY BLOGGING?
Internet blogging seems to be one of the
most interesting kinds of internet journal in this era. Thousands of posted
blogs can be seen every day in the internet sites providing different ideas and
information that can be useful to everyone in the search of new knowledge about
their various activities.
Blog is a posted article in the internet
written by internet users that provide ideas and information depending on the
writers’ focus. Most people of today are
become more interested into blogging there are millions of people ever year
reading and published their articles trough their blog sites personal,
organizational and corporate blog. The most important thing why most people
encourage doing blogging because it develops individuals’ skills towards
writing. As a student I believe that blogging helps individual with poor ability
in writing composition. Second, it helps to augment the ability of a person to
formulate a much more generally accepted idea.
Blogging also provides unlimited spaces for
the writers in publishing their write ups as brought by cyber technology so the
bloggers can produce articles as much as they can and it does not restrict the
numbers of words can be put in article being created.
Recently most of the publications (e.g.
news papers, magazines) require strict compliance before writers can initiate
their writings and sometimes it limits the idea of the writers to be pasted on
the articles to prevent the conflict of interest between writers and the media
company who employed them and most of the works were strictly focus on one
field under the dictate of company’s policy. Unlike internet blogging, it does
not prohibit anyone to write an article that would offer critical idea. But of
course the bloggers must observe what is within the context of morally set
standards.
Blogging also offer another unique characteristic
in developing one’s write ups because the readers are given a chance to
criticise and to give comments on the writers post, the exchange of ideas are
much alive and observable in this situation, so the writers has an options to
either buy out the readers’ idea or to reject it, though the openness of the
writers and their ability to understand the comments and suggestions would still
matter most of the time. What is important there is that the visibility of the
articles to be criticised is open publicly thus it would also help the writers
to sustain its blogs due to the accumulated ideas and opinion receives from the
previous write ups.
SERVE THE PEOPLE AND LIBERATE THE MASSES FROM THE BONDAGE OF OPPRESSION IS MY UNDYING INTEREST.
Photo taken from the hinterlands of Siaton,Negros Oriental during a Fact Finding Mission of the Massive Militarization in the area and worsening human
rights violations committed by the elements of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. At this moment a gassed lamp provide us light as we were finalizing our
documented data that has been gathered during the talks with farmers.
The economic and political situation remain the biggest problem in the country, from colonial and feudal system to the present semi-colonial and semi-feudal. This system are the crucial point why the vast majority still drown to worst economic crisis and deprived to exercise their rights in political actions, and suffer from state repression though it was protected under the supreme law of the land but in reality these are all in a mere dream of a poor " Juan Dela Cruz" that had been dreaming and never awake.
As an ordinary citizen who dream a descent life, a quality of education that can be access by all the people regardless of their social standing, jobs that at all time provides an appropriate income to sustain our daily needs such as food that are required according to the needs of our body and prescribed by competent medical practitioner, health care that is accessible and free for all, and secured and free shelters when in times of natural calamities at least that very moment we will feel less worries because we can not feel the rain drops into our bed as we are in deep asleep. These are all have been always dream by all the ordinary citizens like me in exchange for a tons of taxes that we have been pay everyday and these are all the responsibilities and the purpose of the creation of the so-called government. In the principle of human rights these are essential to our lives because it is the primary source of our survival.
This is what I've learn as I dig deeply and in search for the truth, but as I tried to integrate and concretely evaluate if this things were applied in the society that I am living. I was in a great dismayed and confusion over the reality that the people in the country and I my self were greatly deprived of these essentials in our life and controlled of things that supposed to be executed in the redress of our grievance and restricted of legitimate actions achieving our economic needs. this all the time I shifted my interest into the desire that is anchor on our greatest task as one of the most advance creature ever created by the fusion of atoms. That every human has a task to protect each and everyone against the forces of nature and harmful act from everyone.
This is the foundation of our rights that must at all time be protected and be defended from political to economic and socio-cultural aspect people should have equal opportunity in promoting and achieving these rights. But in the country like philippines only 1 percent has the right to fully enjoy and exercise such things while the 99 percent are chained of deprivation that result into poverty, starvation and constant economic crisis due to the fact that majority of the wealth were fully controlled and monopolized by those who are in government post. this is were my interest has been molded and shaped. the interest of the majority to liberate ourselves from the bondage of oppression, injustice and inequality.
